Limited Capacity filling up

Participants in this session will gain an understanding of how to identify red flags that may trigger the referral for speech-language and occupational therapy services, Identify different tiers of support and service models. They will also learn ways to apply supports and accommodations to support children with speech-language deficits, fine motor deficits, visual motor deficits, and children who have difficulties with sensory processing. Participants will explore how assistive technology (AT) and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) can be used to best support students and their individual needs. Participants should leave feeling empowered to advocate for your students and work with your school’s team to get them the support they need.
